GP LINK RECRUITMENT AUSTRALIA PTY LTD

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the GP Link platform, website, and related services (“Services”).
GP LINK RECRUITMENT AUSTRALIA PTY LTD (“GP Link”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides recruitment, compliance support, and relocation coordination services for medical practitioners seeking employment and specialist registration in Australia.
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2. Eligibility
To use GP Link, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be a qualified or soon-to-be-qualified medical practitioner
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Use the platform for lawful purposes only
GP Link reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false, misleading, or incomplete information.
3. Nature of Services
GP Link provides:
- Medical recruitment services
- Introduction to Australian medical practices
- Guidance on specialist registration processes
- Assistance coordinating with regulatory bodies including:
- Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Australian Medical Council (AMC)
- General relocation coordination support
GP Link is not:
- A regulatory authority
- A migration agent (unless separately engaged)
- A law firm
- An employer
We do not guarantee registration approval, visa approval, employment offers, or income levels.
4. Recruitment Relationship
GP Link acts as an independent recruitment intermediary between medical practitioners and healthcare providers.
We may:
- Share your professional profile with medical practices (with your consent)
- Facilitate interviews and contract discussions
- Coordinate onboarding steps
Final employment contracts are entered into directly between you and the hiring practice or organisation.
GP Link is not a party to your employment agreement.
5. No Guarantee of Outcomes
While we provide structured guidance and support:
- Regulatory bodies make independent decisions regarding specialist registration.
- Employers make independent hiring decisions.
- Government authorities make independent visa determinations.
GP Link does not guarantee:
- Registration approval
- Employment placement
- Specific remuneration
- Visa approval
- Timeframes for relocation
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information
- Upload authentic and unaltered documents
- Notify GP Link of changes to your registration status
- Maintain confidentiality of your login credentials
- Respond promptly to compliance-related requests
You must not:
- Upload fraudulent documents
- Misrepresent qualifications or registration history
- Attempt to interfere with the platform’s security
If fraud or misrepresentation is detected, GP Link may immediately terminate your account and notify relevant authorities where required.
7. Document Authenticity and Certification
You are solely responsible for ensuring that all uploaded documents are genuine, legally obtained, and properly certified where required.
GP Link provides AI-powered tools to assist with document verification and certification checking. These tools are provided as an assistive aid only and:
- Do not constitute legal, regulatory, or professional verification of any document
- May produce inaccurate results and should not be relied upon as a substitute for independent verification
- Do not replace the requirements of regulatory authorities such as Ahpra, AMC, GMC, IMC, or MCNZ
You acknowledge and agree that:
- It is your sole responsibility to ensure all documents meet the requirements of the relevant regulatory authority
- Certified copies must be properly certified by a solicitor, public notary, or other authorised certifier in accordance with the requirements of the receiving authority
- GP Link follows publicly available regulatory guidelines to the closest ability reasonably possible, however any error, omission, or deficiency in documentation submitted by you remains your liability
- A positive AI verification result on the platform does not guarantee acceptance by any regulatory authority
- GP LINK RECRUITMENT AUSTRALIA PTY LTD accepts no liability for documents rejected by any regulatory authority, regardless of any verification result provided on the platform
Any consequences arising from inaccurate, fraudulent, or improperly certified documentation are your responsibility.
8. Fees
For doctors:
GP Link typically charges recruitment fees to hiring practices, not to candidates, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For practices:
Recruitment fees are governed by separate Recruitment Service Agreements.
Any additional service fees (if applicable) will be disclosed before engagement.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, workflows, dashboards, documentation templates, and platform design elements are the intellectual property of GP Link Pty Ltd.
You may not:
- Copy platform structure for commercial use
- Reproduce proprietary materials
- Reverse engineer the system
10. Confidentiality
You agree to maintain confidentiality regarding:
- Practice offers
- Commercial terms
- Internal processes
- Recruiter communications
GP Link also maintains confidentiality of your profile in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
GP LINK RECRUITMENT AUSTRALIA PTY LTD shall not be liable for:
- Regulatory refusal decisions
- Visa denials
- Employment termination
- Loss of income
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Delays caused by third parties
- Errors or inaccuracies in AI-powered document verification or certification checking results
- Documents rejected by regulatory authorities despite receiving a positive verification result on the platform
- Any loss, cost, expense, or damage arising from the user's reliance on the platform's document verification tools as a substitute for independent professional advice
- Incorrect, incomplete, or improperly certified documents submitted by the user during the registration process
GP Link provides registration guidance and document verification tools based on publicly available regulatory guidelines, following these guidelines to the closest ability reasonably possible. However, any fault, error, or omission in documentation or information provided by the user during the registration process remains the sole liability of the user.
Our liability is limited to the amount (if any) paid by you for Services directly provided by GP Link.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law where applicable.
12. Platform Availability
We aim to maintain reliable platform access but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
We may:
- Update features
- Modify functionality
- Temporarily suspend access for maintenance
Without liability.
13. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by written request.
GP Link may suspend or terminate access if:
- You breach these Terms
- You engage in fraud or misconduct
- Continued use poses regulatory or legal risk
Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.
14. Privacy
Your use of GP Link is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and store your personal information.
15. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation.
If unresolved, disputes will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
